Your Right to Request Deletion
If you have personal data stored in LeaseUp Bulldog and would like it deleted, you have the right to request deletion at any time under TCPA, CCPA, and GDPR. This page explains how to make that request and what happens after you do.
Who This Page Is For
Prospects / consumers: If you received an SMS from a property managed by LeaseUp Bulldog and want your phone number, name, and conversation history removed from our system.
Operators: If you are a paying customer who wants your full account and all associated data deleted, log in and use the account deletion option in your settings, or follow the instructions below.
How to Request Deletion
Send an email to support@leaseupbulldog.com with the following:
- Subject: Data Deletion Request
- Your phone number in the format we contacted you on (e.g. +15125550123)
- Your name as it appeared on the inquiry
- The property name you inquired about, if you remember
- (Optional) The reason for your request
You can also opt out of future SMS messages immediately by replying STOP to any text from us. This blocks all future messages and is independent of the data deletion process below.
What Happens Next
- We acknowledge your request within 2 business days.
- We verify your identity (we may ask one short follow-up question to confirm the request is genuine).
- We delete your data within 30 days of verification.
- We send you a confirmation email when deletion is complete.
What Gets Deleted
- Your name, phone number, and email
- Your full conversation history with the AI
- Your lead record, qualification data, and notes
- Any associated tour or application records
- Activity log entries that reference you
What We May Retain (and Why)
We retain a minimal record solely to comply with US legal obligations:
- TCPA consent audit trail — a record showing that you originally consented to be contacted and that consent was later revoked. Required by federal law for at least 4 years.
- Opt-out record — a record that your phone number opted out, so it is never contacted again. This is required to honor your opt-out across our systems.
- Aggregate analytics — fully de-identified counts (e.g. "12 leads this month") that cannot be traced back to you.
If you want even these minimal records removed (e.g. if you are exercising GDPR Right to Erasure), state that explicitly in your request and we will assess whether we can comply consistent with our legal obligations.
Data Held by Third Parties
LeaseUp Bulldog uses third-party services to operate (Twilio for SMS delivery, Stripe for billing, Supabase for database hosting, Anthropic for AI replies). When you request deletion from us, we delete your data from our systems. We can also instruct Twilio and other providers to delete on our behalf — let us know if you want this and we will process it.
Operators: Account Deletion
If you are a LeaseUp Bulldog operator (paying customer) and want to delete your full account, you have two options:
- Log in, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, and follow the typed-confirmation flow.
- Email support@leaseupbulldog.com from the email address on your account with subject “Delete My Account”.
Account deletion cascades: all properties, leads, conversations, tours, billing records, and Twilio numbers associated with your account are removed or released. We retain only the legally-required minimum (TCPA consent records, financial transaction history for tax purposes).
